1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, software, applications, APIs, plugins, websites, and related products provided by Coinsnap and operated by Onlineshop24 DOO (“Coinsnap”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing or using Coinsnap services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Coinsnap services.

3. Services
Coinsnap provides software and infrastructure for Bitcoin and Lightning Network payments, including but not limited to:
- merchant payment processing tools
- self-custodial wallet applications
- APIs and webhooks
- WordPress plugins
- WooCommerce integrations
- Shopify integrations
- BTCPay integrations
- merchant dashboards
- payment synchronization tools
- referral and partner systems
- settlement integrations with third-party providers
Coinsnap services are intended primarily for merchants, businesses, developers, and users accepting Bitcoin payments.
4. Self-Custodial Nature of Coinsnap
Coinsnap operates primarily as a self-custodial Bitcoin and Lightning payment infrastructure provider.
Coinsnap does not:
- hold user funds
- control user wallets
- store private keys
- operate as a bank
- provide custodial wallet services
Users retain sole control over:
- private keys
- seed phrases
- wallet backups
- wallet security
- Bitcoin transactions
Users acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible.
Coinsnap cannot recover lost wallets, lost seed phrases, or reverse blockchain transactions.
5. No Financial Services
Coinsnap is not:
- a cryptocurrency exchange
- a broker
- a money transmitter
- a bank
- an investment advisor
- a financial institution
- a payment institution
- a custodian
Coinsnap does not provide:
- fiat exchange services
- investment services
- lending services
- staking services
- custodial wallet services
Any fiat settlement, conversion, or banking services are provided independently by third-party providers.
6. Third-Party Settlement Providers
Coinsnap may integrate with independent third-party providers such as DFX Swiss AG for optional settlement and payout services.
Such third-party providers operate independently and may require:
- KYC verification
- KYB verification
- AML compliance procedures
- regulatory checks
Coinsnap is not responsible for:
- decisions made by third-party providers
- settlement delays
- exchange rates
- banking issues
- compliance procedures of third parties
Users agree that relationships with third-party financial providers are governed by the terms and policies of those providers.
7. Eligibility
By using Coinsnap services, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old
- you are legally permitted to use Bitcoin-related services in your jurisdiction
- you are not prohibited from using the services under applicable laws or sanctions regulations
Businesses using Coinsnap represent that they have authority to act on behalf of their organization.
8. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants using Coinsnap are solely responsible for:
- compliance with local laws
- tax obligations
- accounting obligations
- invoicing requirements
- regulatory obligations
- consumer protection laws
- anti-money laundering obligations where applicable
Coinsnap does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice.
9. Account Registration
Some services require account registration.
Users agree to:
- provide accurate information
- maintain account security
- keep credentials confidential
- notify Coinsnap of unauthorized access
Users are responsible for all activity occurring under their accounts.
10. Acceptable Use
Users may not use Coinsnap services for:
- illegal activities
- fraud
- money laundering
- terrorist financing
- sanctions violations
- phishing
- unauthorized access attempts
- malware distribution
- deceptive practices
- unlawful gambling
- prohibited goods or services
Coinsnap reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activities.
11. Referral and Partner Program
Coinsnap may offer referral or partner programs.
Referral commissions:
- are discretionary
- may be modified or terminated at any time
- may be withheld in cases of fraud or abuse
Referring users do not receive personal information about referred merchants beyond commission-related status information.
12. APIs and Developer Tools
Users of APIs, plugins, and developer tools agree to:
- use reasonable security measures
- avoid abusive API usage
- comply with documentation and rate limits
- avoid reverse engineering where prohibited by law
- avoid interference with platform stability
Coinsnap may limit or revoke API access at its discretion.
13. Open Source Components
Some Coinsnap services may include open-source software components.
Open-source components may be subject to separate license terms.
Users remain responsible for reviewing and complying with applicable open-source licenses.
14. Service Availability
Coinsnap strives to maintain reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Services may be interrupted due to:
- maintenance
- updates
- network failures
- blockchain congestion
- Lightning Network conditions
- third-party service outages
- force majeure events
Coinsnap is not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
15. Blockchain and Lightning Risks
Users acknowledge the inherent risks associated with Bitcoin and Lightning Network technologies, including:
- price volatility
- transaction irreversibility
- network congestion
- routing failures
- protocol vulnerabilities
- software bugs
- loss of private keys
- loss of access to wallets
Users assume full responsibility for these risks.
16. No Warranty
Coinsnap services are provided:
“AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”
to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Coinsnap disclaims all warranties, including:
- merchantability
- fitness for a particular purpose
- non-infringement
- uninterrupted availability
- error-free operation
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coinsnap and Onlineshop24 DOO shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages
- consequential damages
- loss of profits
- loss of Bitcoin or digital assets
- business interruption
- loss of data
- trading losses
- exchange rate fluctuations
- wallet failures
- blockchain failures
- Lightning routing failures
- third-party service failures
Coinsnap’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Coinsnap during the previous twelve months.
Some jurisdictions may not allow certain liability limitations.
18. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coinsnap and Onlineshop24 DOO from claims arising out of:
- misuse of the services
- violation of these Terms
- violation of laws or regulations
- infringement of third-party rights
19. Intellectual Property
Coinsnap trademarks, branding, software, and content remain the property of Coinsnap or its licensors.
Users may not:
- copy proprietary software
- resell services without authorization
- misuse Coinsnap branding
- remove copyright notices
Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

- suspected fraud

Users may stop using the services at any time.
22. Compliance With Laws
Users are solely responsible for complying with all laws applicable to their use of Bitcoin, Lightning Network services, and Coinsnap products.
Coinsnap does not guarantee that its services are lawful in every jurisdiction.
23. Export Controls and Sanctions
Users may not use Coinsnap services in violation of export control laws or sanctions regulations.
Coinsnap reserves the right to restrict access in certain jurisdictions.
24. Modifications to the Services
Coinsnap may modify, discontinue, or update services at any time without liability.

Coinsnap may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
26. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, excluding conflict of law principles.
27. Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Serbia.
Where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise, such rights remain unaffected.
28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between users and Coinsnap regarding the services.
