If you accidentally assigned your Personal and Business Lightning Addresses the wrong way around, you can correct them by following these steps.
Step 1: Reset the wallet and import it again
Step 2: Free up the current Lightning Address names
To make the original Lightning Address names available again, you first need to rename the currently assigned addresses.
Example:
personal to personal1business to business1This releases the original names personal and business, allowing them to be used again.
Step 3: Import the wallet again
Step 4: Assign the Lightning Addresses correctly
You can now use the original Lightning Address names again and assign them to the correct wallets.
Example:
Personal Wallet
business1 back to personalBusiness Wallet
personal1 back to business(or assign the names according to your preferred setup)
Because the original names were released in Step 2, they are now available for reassignment.
Important: Your Bitcoin funds are not affected by this process. As long as you have your recovery seed, you can safely restore your wallet and reconfigure your Lightning Addresses.
