2. subject matter of the contract
Coinsnap provides modules with which operators of online stores and websites can receive Bitcoin Lightning payments from their customers’ Bitcoin Lightning wallet to their own Bitcoin Lightning wallet.
The subject matter of the contract is the provision of corresponding modules to enable the technical processing of a Bitcoin Lightning transaction between the wallet of the end customer and the wallet of the website operator.
3. services
3.1 Coinsnap provides website operators with modules that can be used to transfer Bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network from the end customer’s Bitcoin Lightning Wallet to the website operator’s Bitcoin Lightning Wallet. With these modules, website operators can receive Bitcoin payments from their customers via the Lightning Network. 3.2 Both the customer and the website operator must each have their own Bitcoin Lightning Wallet. Coinsnap does not provide wallets and does not hold any of its customers’ funds. 3.3 The website operator registers with Coinsnap and deposits his Bitcoin Lightning Wallet using his Lightning address. The website operator then integrates the Coinsnap module into their online store or website. The website operator enters the amount to be paid in the desired currency. Coinsnap automatically converts to Bitcoin at the current exchange rate and generates a QR code. The website operator’s customer scans the QR code and releases it in their Bitcoin Lightning wallet. Coinsnap monitors whether the website operator’s customer has carried out the transfer and informs the website operator in the event of a successful transfer to the website operator’s wallet. The message is sent automatically via the Coinsnap module to the website operator’s store system. The website operator can then start delivering the corresponding products and services. 3.4 The Bitcoin is credited to the website operator’s own Bitcoin wallet. If the website operator wishes to be credited in fiat currency instead of Bitcoin, the credit can be made with a third-party provider (“Bitcoin broker”), who will exchange cryptocurrency for fiat currency and credit the website operator’s bank account. 3.5 The fees incurred for the use of the Coinsnap Modules shall be paid by the Website Operator. By accepting these terms and conditions, you as the contracting company agree that we may retain the specified fees from you as part of the Bitcoin payout. 3.6 The price for the use of the Coinsnap modules is 1.25% of the turnover and is reduced by 0.25% if a discount code is used.
4. third party providers
Coinsnap is not a financial company and does not have a banking license, a license to hold Bitcoin or permission to exchange cryptocurrencies for fiat or other cryptocurrencies. Coinsnap is not a payment service provider and does not provide you with any payment services related to fiat money. Coinsnap has partnered with third parties to enable, provide or otherwise offer certain parts of the Services (“Third Party Providers”). You may be required to enter into additional agreements with these Third Party Providers to enable or access certain features of the Services. Coinsnap has no control over the products or services offered by the Third Party Providers and is not liable for the performance of the Third Party Providers.
4.1 Wallet
The contracting company and the customer of the contracting company each have their own Bitcoin Lightning Wallet. This Bitcoin Lightning Wallet is available from various wallet providers and is offered as a self-custody unhosted wallet or as a third-party custody hosted wallet. Coinsnap itself does not provide a Bitcoin Lightning Wallet. The contracting company is free to choose which Bitcoin Lightning Wallet it selects from the market. If the contracting company uses an unhosted wallet to credit the Bitcoin and wishes to receive payments that exceed the equivalent of €1,000, the contracting company’s identity must be verified in advance.
4.2 Exchange service
The credit is made in the form of Bitcoin via the Lightning Network to the contracting company’s Bitcoin Lightning Wallet. If the contracting company wishes to be credited to a Bitcoin on-chain wallet or to its own bank account, an exchange service can be used. The exchange of Bitcoin Lightning into a fiat currency is carried out by third-party providers (“Bitcoin brokers”). The Lightning balance is transferred to the third-party provider, who carries out the exchange based on the current exchange rate and pays out to the bank account of the contracting company. Coinsnap provides connections to various Bitcoin brokers. The contracting company can select a corresponding Bitcoin broker in the backend. For this purpose, a direct contract is concluded between the contracting company and the Bitcoin broker.
5. availability
Coinsnap endeavors to keep the backend and the website available as far as possible 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. However, access to the Coinsnap system and the website may be temporarily interrupted due to technical maintenance work, changes or updates or due to disruptions or restrictions in the operation of the Internet. Coinsnap is not liable for disruptions or the inability to access the Coinsnap System and the Website that are due to third parties, unsuitable equipment of the user or other circumstances for which Coinsnap is not responsible. Although Coinsnap endeavors to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the Coinsnap System and the Website, it is possible that the Coinsnap System and the Website may not always be accurate, complete or up-to-date and may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Accordingly, the Contracting Company must verify all information before relying on it, and any decisions based on the information contained in the Coinsnap System and the Website are the sole responsibility of the Contracting Company, and Coinsnap assumes no liability for such decisions.

Coinsnap and third-party providers provide the contracting company with corresponding modules for various store systems or website applications.
Coinsnap assumes no liability for the availability and functionality of third-party modules.
The integration of the module into the website of the contracting company is carried out by the contracting company.
7. accounting
The contracting company receives a monthly invoice for the usage fee for the modules. Invoicing takes place on the first of each month for the previous month. The usage fee is calculated on a Bitcoin basis. Billing is carried out in Serbian dinars at the average daily exchange rate of the Serbian National Bank with the equivalent value in euros.

10. liability
Coinsnap is liable for damages as far as it, its legal representatives or vicarious agents have caused them intentionally or by gross negligence. The contracting company exempts Coinsnap from liability for direct and indirect damages, including loss of profit, which have not been caused intentionally or through gross negligence by Coinsnap, its legal representatives or vicarious agents. Coinsnap is not liable for billing errors or default of payment by third parties.
