Product selection
Select the desired product in the Wix store and add it to the shopping cart.
Payment method
After selecting the address and shipping method, the payment methods offered are displayed.
The option Bitcoin + Lightning payments appears here.
Order confirmation
You receive a summary of the order and confirm it.
Then click on Place order & pay.
Payment
The customer is taken to the payment page and can pay with Bitcoin or Lightning.
Choose payment option Coinsnap for Wix
In the Wix backend, go to the Settings menu item and then to the Accept Payments menu item.
The Accept Payments page lists the payment gateways to which you are already connected.
To connect to another payment gateway, scroll to the bottom of the page.
There you will find the menu item “See more Payment Options”.
Keep scrolling until you find Coinsnap.
There you will find the Connect button and Coinsnap will be connected to your Wix store.
Coinsnap is now listed under the Connected Payment Gateways.
Click on Manage to make the individual settings.
First, we need the store ID and the API key from Coinsnap. To do this, we log in to Coinsnap and go to the Setting section. If you don’t have a Coinsnap account yet, you can create one here. All you need is an email address and a Lightning wallet with a Lightning address. You can find out how to create a Coinsnap account under First steps.
In the Store Settings sub-item, we find the Store ID and API Key details.
We need this information because both details must be stored with Wix.
In Wix, we enter the data that we have just copied from the Coinsnap Store Settings under Manage Coinsnap and in the Store ID and API Key fields.
We then save the stored data.
With Coinsnap for Wix you can easily integrate the Coinsnap Bitcoin Payment Gateway into your Wix store.
Your customers can now pay you with Bitcoin and Lightning.
