How to get an Alby Lightning address
You need a Lightning Wallet with a Lightning address so that the sales in your webshop are credited to you. In this article we describe how to get a Lightning wallet with a Lightning address from the provider Alby.
With the provider Alby you get a Lightning address with a Lightning wallet. To get an Alby Lightning Wallet, go to the website https://getalby.com.
There you will find the Create Account button to open an Alby account.

In the next step you enter your email address and a password.
After logging in, you will find yourself in the Alby Dashboard. All your Lightning payments will be displayed here later.
In the upper menu bar we go to the Settings menu item.
In Settings we select the subitem Profile Settings
Here we find the settings for our Lightning address and have the option to change the name in front of @getalby.com to our liking.
After we have entered and saved our desired name, the Alby Lightning address will be available to us. We can now deposit this Lightning address with Coinsnap. All incoming Bitcoin and Lightning payments are then credited to our Alby Lightning wallet.
Submit Lightning address to Coinsnap
When you log in to Coinsnap for the first time, you will be asked for your company name and Lightning address. In the second line you enter the Lightning address you got from Alby.
The Lightning address can also be stored in the payout settings.
